About the YPSI Vitamin D/K Complex
The YPSI vitamin D/K complex is high-quality vitamin D with vitamin K in the highly bioavailable form MK-7.
Vitamin D is one of the best-known vitamins, especially since scientific studies and individual tests repeatedly show how widespread a vitamin D deficiency is in Germany and other countries that are further away from the equator.
Vitamin D performs many important functions in the body.
Vitamin D contributes to a normal function of the immune system (physical defence), to maintain normal muscle function, normal bones and normal teeth, to a normal calcium level in the blood and to a normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus bei und also has a function in cell division.
Vitamin K also performs important functions in the body.
Along with vitamin D, vitamin K is one of the fat-soluble vitamins and is a cofactor that activates and regulates anticoagulant factors in the blood. Also vitamin K plays an important role in the activation of osteocalcin (a bone protein) . Vitamin K is an important supplement to vitamin D.
